I am available as a lecturer and demonstrator on the subject of early sound recordings at events, schools, and libraries.

An avid collector of early sound recordings, I have searched for talking machines, cylinders, early discs and novelty recordings that he now uses for my recreations of music halls and vaudeville, as well as for my own enlightenment and entertainment.

For the Centennial of the Great '06 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire, I was interviewed on NPR about a 2-minute black wax recording I own of Len Spencer and Prince's Band's recreation of "The Destruction of San Francisco", released in October of 1906 (6 months after the quake).

I'm the proud owner of an 1896 recording of Billy Golden's "Rabbit Hash" on a seven inch E. Berliner disc that has a political "rap" between verses.
